I don't know if this is news to anyone, but I've been designing 24 hour RPGs for the "Ronnies," Ron Edwards' 24 hour RPG contest. At least one, maybe two of these are headed for future development, and one of them won a prize.

The Drifter's Escape is an American folk RPG. It won $25!
On the Ecology of the Mud Dragon is a "cute monsters get into hijinks" RPG in the genre of old Dragon magazine back-up features.
If you get in a mind to playtest one of these, please e-mail me! I may have a better version sitting around.
P.S. And, yes, the Bennies (which Ron got the name from) are still in process. There's a lot of Actual Play threads produced in one year!
