Awards
So I've been thinking about doing a little personal RPG awards ceremony. Why?
Because I could call the awards "the bennies."
Get it?
P.S. Also because I want to give the prize for "most awesomest game that ever awesomed." Two guesses about what that would be -- first two don't count!

I like the name, but what would the award do, that other awards don't do? Not that I don't want to know what awesome game you thinks awesomes the best...but if everyone gives out awards, maybe they'll all be devalued somehow? Just a thought (and a query, 'cause if the "Bennies" are doing something really different, then obviously they'll be worthwhile).
My favorite awards thing is one that Jared did last year, something like the "Skully Awards":

Fun, cute, nice.
Yeah, pretty much the goal is to do something like the Skullies.
I'm thinking about maybe giving awards for Actual Play, though.

You cannot possibly "devalue" other awards.
Go for it, Ben.
Ben- yes. The Bennies must happen.
Cool! I especially like them being for actual play.
Would it be only for games you see/take part in, or would written play accounts factor in as well?
Both? I was thinking about having a seperate award for "Games Ben has played in" and "Games Ben has not played in" but I might just combine them.
Definitely not just limited to my own play experience, though.
This is really beginning to shape up in my head.

You should totally make trophies out of legos and super-glue. There's a Lego outlet store driving distance from me, and I'm constantly wishing that I had some really good excuse to go in and buy the little lego ninjas, and lego stormtroopers, and lego vikings.
Lego outlet store?
Boy, I'm glad that's not near me. Cuz, you know, I have a bit of a Lego .... problem. There, I've admitted it.
